KBAK/KBFX Television stations, Diginity Health, Mercy and Memorial Hospitals (referred to as SPONSORS) are giving viewers a chance to enter the "Get Fit with the Harlem Globetrotters” campaign.  The campaign will begin Monday, January 21 and end at Noon on Tuesday, February 12, 2013

1.NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN: Entrants will make a commitment to "Get Fit" by submitting electronically to Bakersfieldnow.com their “Exercise” picture.”   There is no other method of entry. Only one entry is allowed per child between the ages of 5 and 12.  The legal guardian of the entrant must submit on behalf of the child. Qualified children must be between the ages of 5 and 12 and reside in the KBAK/KBFX viewing area. Submission confirms that the guardian has read and understands the official rules of the contest.    SPONSORS are not responsible for any losses, damage or liabilities resulting from technical malfunctions or for submissions, entries, claims or notices that are late, lost, misdirected, damaged, illegible, incorrect, or incomplete.

2. PRIZE DETAILS: All qualified entrants will receive one free ticket to see the Harlem Globetrotters at Rabobank Arena on February 14, 2013.  Offer is limited to the first 1,000 entries.  In addition all qualified entrants will be eligible for the grand prize, a chance to be a Junior Globetrotter. 

The Junior Globetrotter Grand Prize Winner will be awarded the following items:

Four tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters game on February 14, 2013.
A meet & greet with a Harlem Globetrotter player.
An Autographed t-shirt and ball.
A chance to sit on the bench along-side the team.

Minimum Value of Grand Prize is $340

No cash prize will be awarded.  Contest is subject to federal, state and local taxes and is void where prohibited by law.

4. AWARDING PRIZES: All qualified entrants will receive one free ticket.  Limited to the first 1,000 entries received.  The Grand Prize -Junior Globetrotter winner will be randomly selected from all the entries received.  Decisions and interpretations of these rules are final in all matters relating to this contest. Grand Prize winner will be notified by phone upon winning. Winner will be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, liability/publicity release or the prize will be forfeited. In the liability release, the winner will agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPONSORS and its agents for any injuries, damages or losses which may be sustained inconnection with the ownership, use or misuse of any prize. Prizes may not be awarded if a selected winner is determined to be ineligible. In order to receive a prize, a winner is not required to purchase goods or services, pay any money or submit to any sales presentation. ALL PRIZES ARE AWARDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR OF MERCHANTABILITY.

5. ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend on the number of entries. Only one entry per child.

6. ELIGIBILITY:  Entrants and winner(s) must be legal U.S. residents, residing in Kern County, Tulare County, Kings County or Inyo County and in the viewing area of KBAK, KBFX or THISTV (KBFX2).   All entrants/winners must disclose his or her legal name, address, telephone number, date of birth and Social Security Number and any other information required in an entry form.  Any winner found to have supplied false or misleading information may be disqualified from the contest and therefore forfeit the prize(s).  By submitting an entry, all entrants to any contest both imply and agree to participate in the contest and obey the rules of the contest and all applicable law.

  Employees of KBAK, KBFX, THISTV(KBFX2) Fisher Communications, Inc., (collectively, “Fisher”) and any and all parent, subsidiary, related and affiliated companies, and their respective officers, directors employees and agents and their dependents and immediate families, as well as employees of contest Sponsors, vendors, and prize providers and employees of other broadcast stations are not eligible to participate or win and immediate family and of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. Fisher may prohibit an entrant from participating in the contest if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the contest by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other entrants. Caution: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Fisher reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law.
